Missions Ministry
First Assembly uses every available
means to fulfill the command of Jesus to "go into all the world and
preach the gospel to every creature" (Mark 16:15). We believe Jesus
made every believer and every church responsible for this task and so
we participate and support missions in our community, country and around
the world. Mission awareness is raised through our annual missions convention,
mission trips, missionary speakers and multi-media presentations. There
are also specific mission programs in all ministry areas of the church.
Leader: John Cauble
Small Group Ministry
God never meant for us to walk the road
of life alone. Therefore, relationships are very important at First Assembly.
We believe in connnecting people to Christ and to one another. If you're
looking to build strong relationships, then this ministry is for you.
We have small groups in accessible locations around the county and a variety
of opportunities are available for you to choose from. Groups generally
meet twice a month in homes and enjoy food, fellowship and topical study.
Call the church office at 704.983.3719 to find out where your group is
located!
Youth Ministry
If you're a teenager or the parent of one
(or more!), then you already know that these are some of the most challenging
years you'll face and we don't want you to face them them by yourself.
We want to help you connect with God and others, burn his
truth into your heart and life and explode on your world in a way
that will start a reaction for God's glory. Some of the ways we
help you do that are through monthly fellowships called S.N.A.C., drama
and worship ministries, biostudies, trips and our weekly fusion services
on Wednesdays.
Leader: Pastor Matt Miller

at 7:00 pm we have Rainbows - ages 3 to 5, Missionettes - ages 6 to 12
and Boys Club - ages 6 to 12.

Adult Christian Education
The role of Christian Education is to help
people become believers, mature as believers and live daily as believers.
Sunday School plays a vital role in making this happen. We offer classes
for all ages, with adult electives being offered quarterly.
